Here are all the confirmed ray tracing and DLSS games so far
Get your RTX and RDNA 2 graphics cards at the readyThere’s a lot of moving and shaking in PC graphics at the mo, and of course both ray tracing and DLSS – not to mention the games that support them – are getting caught up. The biggest news is the approaching arrival of Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs, namely the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090, which promise both vastly improved ray tracing in performance and an even smarter, faster upscaler in DLSS 3. And considering how effective the current version, DLSS 2.4, is at boosting performance at potentially zero visual cost, these features may just be worth the king’s ransoms that Nvidia have set as RRPs.
Fortunately, ray tracing already works on most GPUs from the past few years, and will undoubtedly be a part of AMD's RDNA 3 plans for its next-gen GPUs. DLSS demands an Nvidia GeForce RTX card specifically, though most of the current best graphics cards fit the bill – including some affordable ones. And given how the whole point of DLSS is to wring out as many frames per second as possible, it pairs perfectly with ray tracing, which can drastically enhance lighting and reflections quality but is infamously tough on your hardware. Add some upscaling as well, and you’re back up to speed.
Below are all the confirmed games with ray tracing and/or DLSS support, either playable right now or on the way. I’ve also added a new section for confirmed DLSS 3 games, as it doesn’t look like games supporting earlier DLSS versions will natively work with DLSS 3 once it launches, even if they’re running on the new RTX 40 series cards. Which is a shame, but hey, there are hundreds of others that are making good use of the existing tech right now.

DLSS games you can play right now:
Thankfully, the number of games that support Nvidia's DLSS tech is much larger than the number of ray tracing games right now - which is excellent news for Nvidia RTX card owners looking to squeeze some extra frames out of their new GPU. Unlike ray tracing, these games do require the use of an Nvidia RTX card, as DLSS is a proprietary technology exclusive to Nvidia. It's an AI-powered upscaling technology that helps to boost performance at higher resolutions (particularly when you've got ray tracing enabled), and many of today's big ray tracing games such as Watch Dogs Legion simply aren't playable without it. Without further ado, then, here are all the Nvidia DLSS games you can currently play right now:

There are more DLSS games on the way, too. DLSS has now been integrated into both the Unreal Engine and Unity game-making tools now, so it should be much easier for developers to start adding in support for it.
That said, several games Nvidia have announced over the past few years still haven't received their intended DLSS support yet, and consequently I've removed some of the titles that were previously included on this list, as even Nvidia seem to have forgotten about them in their most recent DLSS announcements. Instead, the games below are definitely confirmed to be getting DLSS support, based on the most recent information available to us.
DLSS games on the way:
- A Plague Tale: Requiem
- Atomic Heart
- Black Myth: Wukong

- Dying: 1983
- Gotham Knights
- GRIT
- Hogwarts Legacy
- LEAP (available now in early access)
- Marauders
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Midnight Ghost Hunt (available now in early access)
- On Air
- Perish

- Turbo Sloths
- Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2
- Voidtrain
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
DLSS 3 games on the way:

DLSS 3 is a generational step up from previous versions. It still works by rendering frames at a lower resolution, then upscaling them, but DLSS 3 will also be able to add brand new frames that Nvidia’s AI tech generates itself (using data from surrounding frames). These interpolated frames are snuck in-between the rendered frames, boosting overall FPS even more.
There are some downsides: this technique increases input latency, so might not be great for pacey competitive games, and it will only be available if you’re running an GeForce RTX 40 series GPU. It also won't work on any game that alreasy supports an older DLSS version, though there are a fair amount that are already confirmed to get DLSS 3 once it launches in October.

Unreal Engines 4 and 5, Unity, and the Frostbite Engine will all be DLSS 3 compatible, so you can expect this list to grow just as the ‘old’ DLSS lists above have done.
